Leicester Win the EPL???
The highest Leicester had finished in its first 132 years was second place — in 1929. Just staying in the top flight or securing promotion from the second tier has been the priority for much of the history of this modest club, based in a central England city with a population of barely 300,000. The Foxes have taken only two years to become champions after a decade stranded in the second or third tiers.
In an era when elite clubs are getting wealthier and the Premier League trophy hadn't left Manchester or London in 20 years, an outsider breaking the established order seemed unthinkable without the heavy spending that fueled Blackburn Rovers' 1995 title.
Encapsulating just how remarkable this season has been, Leicester dethroned a Chelsea side currently 29 points behind in ninth place. The last first-time champion of England was Nottingham Forest in 1978, long before soccer's financial gulfs widened. Based on spending, Leicester's accomplishment is unfathomable: Record 20-time champion Manchester United, despite its starting lineup costing more than ten times to assemble at around 330 million pounds, is fifth.
Putting Leicester's feat into further perspective, Liverpool won a then-record 18th English title in 1990 to confirm its status as the country's dominant force. But Leicester has now achieved what Liverpool has failed to do in 26 years since.
There's a sense of entitlement at clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea and United, who believe they should be regular title winners and whose supporters cry out when they fall short.
By comparison, the pure elation Leicester fans have radiated has been infectious and refreshing, singing since March: "We're gonna win the league" or breaking out into sarcastic renditions of "we are staying up" in relation to last season's relegation dogfight.
Leicester improbably opened the new season with an unbeaten run of six games before losing to Arsenal. That proved to be a blip, with the Foxes embarking on another 10 game streak without defeat which saw them go top in November.
Fueling the surge was Vardy, who scored in a record 11 consecutive Premier League games. This is a 28-year-old striker Leicester spotted at non-league Fleetwood Town in 2012 and who had once been earning only 30 pounds ($45) while combining playing on uneven pitches in front of a few hundred fans with manual labor.
Even as goals from Vardy and Riyad Mahrez — who cost less than £500,000 — made Leicester an implausible title contender, pundits predicted the team would soon drop off. But the implosion never came.
Ranieri restricted himself in public to targeting 40 points, the mark usually required to avoid relegation. That was reached on Jan. 2 with almost half of the season remaining. But Arsenal was top at the time and the FA Cup holders looked well-placed to end its 12-year title drought.
And yet it was Arsenal which collapsed as Leicester reclaimed top spot and fought off Tottenham.
European Handball
There are a lot of different sports out there, some have different rules based on what country they are played in and some are universal like Soccer. I wanted to put the spotlight on a sport that is greatly undervalued, It is european handball. not alot of people give euro Handball alot of credit, and many people have never even watched or played it even though it is such a great sport.
Okey here is a quick overview of the sport, there are seven players per team, 6 fielders and one goal keeper. the players are aloud to hand and throw the ball using there hands. it's very similer to soccer except you have to use your hands. the games usuely lasts for two 30 minut periods. The game is very competitive and is very popular in middle eastern countries such as Syria and Lebenon

Both the male and female teams are popular and they have a huge backing, sadly Euro handball is not so popular here in Australia, I really wish it was.

Ramon Dekkers: Highlights of A Great
A snap of our fingers and a moment passes, and just like that... He's gone... Death is something we are all aware of but we all think it's suppose to happen naturally, as we grow old. Dekkers has left us all asking "Why..." And of course, none of us know the answer. We can only hope that his passing had some kind of meaning, that he was taken from us because he was needed somewhere else for a greater cause. But we will never know. What we do know is in his passing, many want to know how it happened, how did this great, strong man die... Those questions will be answered in the weeks to come, but for now, we feel it's more important to remind everyone here, how this Legend became such, and tell you just a little bit about how he lived...
Ramon Dekkers was born in Breda, North Brabant, the Netherlands. He began learning martial arts around 1986 at age 12, studying judo for a few months. He then started boxing for a year. In 1986, at the age of 16 he first walked into Cor Hemmers Gym in Breda. As soon as he saw Muay Thai he knew this is what he wanted to do. Hemmers is a Dutch kickboxing trainer associated with the Golden Glory gym in Breda, Netherlands.
Along with training Dekkers, he has trained numerous World Champions and contenders in both kickboxing and mixed martial arts including Heath Herring, Stefan Leko, Alistair Overeem, Bas Rutten, Gökhan Saki and Semmy Schilt.
Hemmers saw great talent in Dekkers as he had naturally explosive power and after a few months felt that he was ready to fight. During Dekkers early days of training his mother brought him to the gym and dropped him off every day, and picked him up after training. During Dekkers' training, Hemmers became more and more involved with his mother, and the two eventually married.
Dekkers had his first fight at the age of 16 and won by knockout. This bout was matched at approximately 56 kilos (123 lbs). For the first part of his career he was managed by Clovis Depretz who also managed Rob Kaman. In the twilight of his career Cor Hemmers was his manager. Ramon had his first international contest against Richard Nam of France. Dekkers lost the fight on points but Nam was European Champion at the time. At the age of 18, Dekkers was awarded his first title shot was on November 15th 1987. He fought Ramkisoen from the respected Chakuiriki Gym trained by Tom Harinck. Dekkers won this fight by knockout with a high kick in round 2 winning the Dutch Featherweight A-Class Title.
Dekkers was one of the biggest Western legends of Muay Thai with over 200 fights to his name. During a 20 year fight career he was an 8 time World Champion. What made him a Legend though was not the "Titles" he won, but "Who" he fought. He fought in Thailand in the top stadiums of Lumpinee and Rajdamnern against the Thai's own champions. Not only did he beat a lot of them but often when he beat them it was also by knockout! As well as fighting the top Thais, he was a true warrior and would fight two times a week if someone challenged him. Many of his losses were on points as he often took fights too close together. He soon became known as "The Diamond".
RIP Ramon Dekkers, a great that was taken too early from this world.

Brett Favre - An NFL great - Timeline
NFL quarterback Brett Favre was born in Gulfport, Mississippi, in 1969. The son of a football coach, Favre attended the University of Southern Mississippi. After a stellar college career, Favre was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the 1991 NFL draft. Following his trade to the Green Bay Packers the next year, Favre led the franchise to victory in Super Bowl XXXI. He was also named the league's MVP three years in a row. After shorter stints with the New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings, Favre retired from football after the 2010 season.
Favre took just a few snaps for the Falcons his rookie year. Throughout the year, the franchise was at odds over what the future held for Favre and so, when the Green Bay Packers offered the club a first-round pick for the backup quarterback, the team took the deal.
Favre went on to have a remarkable run with the Packers, turning around the struggling but once-proud franchise into a perennial winner while establishing himself as one of the game's best quarterbacks. Over the course of 16 seasons with the franchise, Favre led the team to a pair of Super Bowls, winning one, and becoming the first NFL player to win three straight MVP awards.
In addition, Favre started every single Packer game from September 20, 1992 to January 20, 2008. Overall, Favre's ironman streak would run an amazing 297 games, an NFL record.
In 2008, the Packers traded Favre, who'd waffled on whether to retire, to the New York Jets. While his 2008 season with the Jets started out well, the team lost four of their last five games, including their final game against the Miami Dolphins, and they missed the playoffs.
In April 2009, Favre was released from his contract with the Jets, and began a career with the Minnesota Vikings. The rejuvenated veteran topped 4,000 passing yards and threw 33 touchdowns against just seven interceptions, guiding the Vikings to a 12-4 record and a spot in the NFC Championship Game. At the end of the year, he was named to his 11th Pro Bowl.
Favre returned to Minnesota in 2010 for what would become a disappointing season for the quarterback and the club. He retired for good in January 2011, and returned to Mississippi. Favre finished with NFL records in passing (71,838) and touchdowns (508)—both of which had previously been held by Dan Marino of the Miami Dolphins.
In 2012, Favre was hired as an assistant football coach at Oak Grove High School in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was asked by the St. Louis Rams to return to the NFL the following October, but he declined their offer. Favre admitted to the media around this time that he was suffering from some memory loss, which he attributed in part to the many injuries he sustained during his pro football career.
One of the greatest players in Green Bay's storied history, Favre was set to be honored by his old team with induction into the Packers Hall of Fame and a number retirement ceremony in 2015.
